View Photos From Our STEM Stomp Event

On Saturday, August 12th, we utilized areas surrounding the clubhouse at Golf Club at Moffett Field to bring our 2017 STEM Stomp event to life. Vendors included representatives from the Computer History Museum, Oakland Turfgrass Education Initiative, Main Street Burgers, and Chick-Fil-A, who helped our participants, volunteers, and staff learn how STEM topics relate to golf. Stations included Artifacts Exploration, Water Discovery, Putting, and Raspberry Pi. Thanks to our friends from Main Street Burgers, everyone in attendance enjoyed delicious sliders at the end of the event. We also celebrated and recognized Coach Liam for his time and dedication to The First Tee of Silicon Valley by presenting him a college scholarship for $3,000. These funds were made available by San Jose Country Club and the Dennis Kettman Memorial Tournament. Find photos of this event on our Facebook Page.
